What materials is it made from?
The Nantucket Awning features a gable-style aluminum frame with 100% solution-dyed acrylic outdoor fabric.
The mill-finish aluminum frame and stainless steel hardware are designed for dependable outdoor use. Required mounting brackets and assembly hardware are included.
Does it work in the rain?
Yes. The Nantucket's pitched, gable-style roof helps direct rainwater away when the awning is installed at the proper angle.
The acrylic fabric is water-resistant, but the awning should not be treated as a completely waterproof structure or used for protection during extreme weather.
Does it arrive assembled?
No. The Nantucket Awning ships in modular frame and fabric components rather than as a fully assembled unit.
The included assembly hardware allows the components to be assembled before mounting the awning to the wall.
Is the fabric replaceable?
Yes. The Nantucket Awning's fabric cover can be replaced without replacing the aluminum frame.
The full fabric cover, including the integrated valance, is replaced as one complete piece.
