Delivery time depends on your location and the shipping carrier. Some assembly or installation preparation may be required.
What is the warranty?
The Mesa Awning includes a 5-year limited, prorated manufacturer warranty, subject to Awntech's terms and exclusions.
For full coverage details, please review Awntech's Warranty Information .
What materials is this awning made from?
The Mesa Awning features a commercial-grade aluminum and steel frame with stainless steel components.
The canopy uses 100% solution-dyed acrylic outdoor fabric, designed for lasting color retention and UV resistance.
A Sunbrella fabric upgrade may also be available by request for an additional charge.
How does this awning operate?
The Mesa is a retractable awning. Its manual configuration uses a smooth hand-crank mechanism to extend and retract the canopy.
Awntech also references motorized configurations in its general Mesa FAQ. Operation depends on the specific version selected. Please confirm the available configuration before ordering.
What type of duty rating does it have?
Awntech describes the Mesa as a medium-to-heavy-duty retractable awning.
It features upgraded components and stronger construction compared with entry-level retractable models.
Like other retractable awnings, it should be retracted during adverse weather conditions.
Is installation difficult?
Most Mesa Awning installations can be completed by two handy people using suitable tools and mounting hardware.
The awning requires secure attachment to adequate structural backing. Depending on the configuration, some assembly may be necessary.
Professional installation is also an option.
How long does installation take?
Most Mesa Awning installations take approximately 1–2 hours, depending on the awning width, mounting surface, and site conditions.
Installations requiring additional structural preparation may take longer.
Is soffit or eave mounting supported?
No. According to Awntech, the Mesa Awning is not compatible with soffit or eave mounting brackets.
The standard Mesa model is intended for wall-mounted installation.
Is roof mounting supported?
No. The Mesa Awning is designed for wall-mount installation only.
Roof mounting is not supported under the manufacturer's standard configuration.
Does this model include a hood or cassette?
No. The Mesa Awning features an open-roll design without a protective hood or cassette.
The fabric roll remains exposed when the awning is retracted.
Is the fabric replaceable?
Yes. The Mesa Awning's acrylic fabric cover can be replaced without replacing the existing frame.
This allows you to refresh the awning's appearance while keeping its structural components.
What size options are available?
