Wireless Wind Sensors
The Awntech Wind Sensor is designed to be a safety feature for patio retractable awnings. This sensor gauges wind speed and will retract the patio retractable awning when the sensors’ dial hits wind speeds up to 25 mph.
- Wireless system that works with your motorized awning (motor model AT45MR only)
- Settings for desired thresholds of wind speed (three levels)
- Easy to setup
- Should be placed within 10 feet of awning
Warning
- Should be used as added protection only! Awning arms can still potentially be damaged while awning tries to retract back towards your home. Never leave your awning open while unattended.
- This model has the Sun Sensor as well. Must keep the Sun Sensor setting at “0” as it will conflict with the Wind Sensor.
